Talk to me about the story of the band!
Thirsting For Revenge born in 2011. In a few time we developed a strong and energetic sound as shown in our first EP “Raindrops”, released on January 2013. We started to play several gigs and on summer 2014 we signed to This Is Core Records to releasing our second EP “Leaves in Autumn”.

What did you do in the last six months?
We recorded “Leaves in Autumn” and played several gigs.

What have you got in your wallet now?
We are going to tour Italy.

Why have you chosen this name for your band?
The name Thirsting For Revenge is linked to our will of raising up a music genre that is considered near to death.

How important is the look/appearance for your band?
We think it’s not as important as music.

Tell us about the new album “Leaves in Autumn”. Are you fully satisfied with it?
“Leaves In Autumn” is the best work we’ve ever released so far. It’s a powerful record full of melodies and brutal riffs. We are fully satisfied about it.

Which is the highest point of the LP?
We think it is a continous “higher point”.

…And the low point?
There isn’t a low point.

How would you define your sound?
Strong and powerful.

Metalcore. Describe for me this word!
Metalcore is considered the “stupid brother” of metal. Today every band that has a strong sound is considered a metalcore one.. we wanna say that metalcore is not about that! Metalcore songs are full of brutal riffs and melodies, solos, clean parts…things that today we think are really rare to find.

Which bands have influenced your style?
Trivium, As I Lay Dying, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Our idea of perfect happiness is living of our music.

Tell me some of the bands you admire.
We love Trivium’s technical precision, Avenged Sevenfold’s musical variety, Veil Of Maya’s brutal riffs and breakdowns, Bullet For My Valentine’s stage presence and sound.

What song is in your head right now?
We are all thinking about “Shattering the skies above” by Trivium.

Name 3 words that describe your band.
Willpower, brutality, hard worker.

Which are the best and the worst qualities of your band?
We leave this answer to our fans.

And of your local music scene?
There is no space in our scene because it is monopolized by few people that decide to cut out who they want, on the other hand there are people that support the scene and also believe in us.

What is the most embarrassing situation you’ve ever been with Thirsting For Revenge?
The day when a local in which we had to play a gig said to us we never set a date to play… The night we had to play!

Have you got a good reason to be in Behind Magazine?
Of course yes, because it is a fantastic space to be known.

Have you got something to add?
We wanna thank whoever had the patience to read it all, Behind Magazine, and leave here the link of our music video for “Claws of time”. Thank you you all!
