The most awaited moment is coming. The second Superenduro Powered By SRAM PRO race of 2013 is around the corner and we are preparing to open the first season of the Enduro World Series. On 18 and 19 May in the Punt Ala Camping Resort, Bandite Trail Area and medieval town of Castiglione della Pescaia will play host to the biggest enduro race the world has ever seen. What began for Superenduro in 2007 with our first enduro race, is becoming international.

Our stars of Superenduro will compete against the world’s strongest enduro racers. How will Davide Sottocornola, Alex Lupato and Andrea Bruno fare against the likes of Jerome Clementz, Fabien Barel and Dan Atherton? In the women’s race the illustrious names include Anne Caroline Chausson, Tracy Moseley and Anneke Beerten. In all, there will be more than 70 top, international racers here to compete in this opening race of the Enduro World Series.

Racing starts Saturday 18 May, with the prologue through the streets of Castiglione della Pescaia. On Sunday it then moves to the Bandite Trail Area with five stages to challenge every aspect of mountain biking. As this is a Superenduro PRO race, the Red Bull Time Rush will also return. It will be stage three, the toughest of the race, where riders will compete for the honour of conquering it fastest.

“This race will be particularly demanding, the transfers are long with little time available, this will favor those who are in better shape,” The words of the legend of Anne Caroline Chausson MTB speak volumes on the test awaiting the athletes.
