The Sheffield Adventure Film Festival has launched the ShAFF 2014 trailer exclusively on BMC TV today ahead of its cinematic screening at the Best of ShAFF 2013 at the Showroom Cinema on Thursday and YouTube release on Tuesday 18th February.

The ShAFF trailer’s proved a hit in recent years with more than 200,000 views of the 2012 and 2013 trailers. This year’s video has been produced by Peak District adventure and outdoor photographer and filmmaker Lukasz Warzecha ( LW Images ) and his Polished Project colleague Wojtek Kozakiewicz. The soundtrack is ‘Life in Glorious Stereo’ by Sheffield band Screaming Maldini .

We’re also releasing a short 30 second film produced especially for ShAFF by Sheffield landscape photographer Dan Arkle , filmed on location in the Peak District using long exposure photography, to spell out ‘Climb, Run, Bike, Party, ShAFF’ to an instrumental soundtrack by Peak District violinist Matt Howden , whose music was recently used in the BBC’s ‘Dambusters Declassified’ documentary. Dan is also exhibiting at ShAFF’s Lowepro Photography Exhibition.
