The champion of the 2013 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series to be crowned on October 26 in Thailand.

The Gap, Maya Bay, Viking Cave and Hong Island – the names are just as unique as the venues themselves.
The final showdown of the fifth season of Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series competition will once again challenge the international cliff diving elite as eight dives count towards the decisive last stop in Krabi Province in southern Thailand.

After the cancellation of the season’s seventh stop in Brazil due to the weather conditions, the World Series divers are even more motivated for the challenging final event in Thailand.

Three more dives for the title – Will Artem Silchenko steal the crown of the current champ Gary Hunt?

After the last stop, the World Series points-scratch-system applies – whereby each diver strikes their worst individual result from the seven competitions – all of which means that 29-year-old Russian Silchenko needs a victory or a second-placed finish ahead of Englishman Hunt to take the crown and become champion for the very first time in his career.

With only three more dives to come, Artem Silchenko (579.20pts) holds a 32.65-point lead over the champion, Gary Hunt, sitting in third and the only one still in the reckoning for the overall victory besides the Russian. The fight for the overall title is still open going into the last competition day on October 26, 2013, on Hong Island.
