After diving from different buildings at the last stops in Denmark or France, the sport heads back to its roots. It’s all about cliffs again. In the Azores on July 18th, the divers climb up to 27 metres to then jump straight from the top of the cliffs, down alongside rough rock formations and then dive into the hard water of the Atlantic. This is definitely a step up in difficulty. Will this change the whole game?

Can four times winner Gary Hunt claim his next and fifth win in the World Series? Or might last year’s winner Steven LoBue or another fellow competitor succeed?

For the women this a first. The unique volcanic archipelago is the venue for the ladies first dives in Portugal. Can reigning champion Rachelle Simpson prolong her winning streak?
