The first recorded journey along El Camino Sierra was by Jedediah Smith in 1826. The trail was in common use by prospectors passing through the area because of the California Gold Rush.

It connects Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe & Reno. Today it is better known as the Sierra Highway or Route 395. Quintin thought it would make for a great trip so we set out with the skate team to check it out.

From Los Angeles to Mammoth Lakes, Lake Tahoe, Reno & Sacramento follow along on our journey in this 3 part series.

Featuring some of the Quintin skate crew including Brett Sube, Danny Hamaguchi, Jordan Maxham and special guest Chris Colbourn.

Stay tuned to for El Camino Sierra Part 3 in Reno & Sacramento.
