Talk to me about the story of the band!
The band started in february of 2007. In 2008 we released our first ep called ‘The Beginning of Hate’. This ep opened many doors to us and we started touring our country. In 2011 we released ‘From Death Comes Life’ our first full-lenth album. In march of 2013 we started touring full time and released a 6 track ep called ‘Steadfast’. We’ve played more than 250 concerts and toured Europe several times also , Russia and UK and the north east of United States the summer of 2013. We have been part of a lot of amaizing open airs and festivals like Gothoom Open Air (2012 & 2014) in Slovakia, Made of Metal, Agressive Music Fest (2013 & 2016), Woodstock Borkovany, Van Daal Fest in Czech Republic, Siege of Limerick in Ireland, Cleveland Music Fest in USA, New Noise Festival in Italy… Shared the stages with some awesome bands like Behemoth, Texas In July, Amaranthe, Adept, More Than a Thousand, Textures, Hypocrisy, Rhapsody… And this year is looking great for us.

What did you do in the last six months?
We finished the writting of our new album, recorded it and released it. We filmed 2 videos in Italy for the songs ‘Deep Down’ and ‘Horizons’. We played two great festivals Agressive Music Fest in Czech Republic and New Noise Festival in Italy. We have practice a lot to prepeare the live shows that are on the way.

What have you got in your wallet now?
The normal things everybody has…

Why have you chosen this name for your band?
When we started to talk about finding a name for the band it was hard as the first 100 names were not good options or one member didn’t like it… Till one member says something that everybody loves and that’s what happened, one of us said: “fahrenheit”, because in our rehersal room was soooo hot… All of us love it but we wanted to find something with more sense and it came to our mind to make a play on words and make it Far ‘n’ Hate. For us it’s kind of like when someone does something bad to you you can forgive but never forget, so this stays far inside you but you always remember and the anger comes in when you think about that… I hope that you get what we mean haha!

How important is the look/appearance?
It is important until a certain point but what really matters is that the music you write is good and that you do it with passion.

Tell us about the new LP “Eternal”. Are you fully satisfied with it?
Yes, definitely. We have worked a lot and took a lot of time to write it and recorded it and produced it. We can’t be happier with the final result.

Which is the highest point of the LP?
It must be the sound and production. We are really happy with it.

How would you define your sound?
Modern metal as we mix a lot of different genres of it in our music.

Metal. Describe for me this word!
The music we love.

Which bands have influenced your style?
A lot, but to name a few: Killswitch Engage, Thrice, While She Sleeps, Bury Tomorrow, Architects.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being on stage.

Tell me some of the bands you admire.
The ones we mentioned before and many many more like Adept, Slipknot, Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, Limp Bizkit, Korn, Textures…

What song is in your head right now?
The Walking Dead opening song.

Name 3 words that describe your band.
Passion, energy and strenth.

Which are the best and the worst qualities of your band?
The best is our hardworking ethic and that we put everything we have in the live shows and in everything that we do. Worst…when we’ll find it will let you know hehe

And of your local music scene?
The best is that everytime there are more bands on the scene. The worst is the envy.

What is the most embarrassing situation you’ve ever been with Far’n’Hate?
Probably when Marc missed the plane to go to Italy because with the rush he left the ID in the tray of the security pass in Barcelona airport.

Have you got a good reason to be in Behind Magazine?
I guess that all we have achieved in our 10 years of career are enough good reasons to be on it.
